FRENCHVILLE – Claude Raymond, 85, died April 19, 2004, at a Fort Kent healthcare facility. He was born April 8, 1919, in Madawaska, the son of Florent and Edith (Bouchard) Raymond. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion Post No.145 of Frenchville. He is survived by his wife, Marion (Brassor) Raymond of Fort Kent; and two daughters, Theresa Sirois of Fort Kent, and Margaret and her husband, James Grandmaison, of Fort Kent; four grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband, Erik, Jimmy, Laura and Wayne; one brother, Maurice of Frenchville; and several nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 9:30 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the Michaud Funeral Home, Frenchville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the St. Luce Catholic Church in Frenchville, with the Rev. Dave Raymond officiating. Burial will be in the St. Luce Cemetery in May.
