EASTON – Clement J. King Jr., 74, died Nov. 11, 2005, at his home in Easton, after a year-long courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born May 29, 1931, in Presque Isle, the son of Clement J. Sr. and Helen (Higgins) King. He attended the Easton Wesleyan Church. Clem’s life passion with farming began with his father at a very early age. He later farmed with his father and brother until creating the Circle K Dairy Farm in Easton in 1970. Clem was a founding member of the MPG Dairy in Presque Isle. He thoroughly enjoyed his fishpond and riding his six-wheeler. Surviving him is his devoted wife of 56 years, Helen (Trask) King, of Easton; two sons and their wives, Daniel and Leonna King and their children, Andrew and Joshua, C.J. and Jodi King and their children, Joseph and Jacob, all of Easton; daughters and their husbands, Kathryn and Tom Peary of Presque Isle and their children, Ralph, Ryan, Russell and Reid, Karen and Robert Hilt of Chapman and their children, Melissa and Jason, Elizabeth and Douglas Babbitt of Groveland, Mass. and their children, Kevin and Christopher and Elaine and Bruce White of Easton and their children, Nathan and Katelyn; four great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Harmony, Aria and Amelia; a brother and his wife, Richard and Irene King of Presque Isle; sisters, Arlene Dicker and Barbara Hews and her husband, Eddie and Jackie Haines and her husband, Harold, all of Presque Isle and Geraldine Wheeler and her husband, Ronald, of Madison; a brother-in-law, Harold Quass and a sister-in-law, Margaret Coffin, both of Presque Isle, several nieces and nephews. Also special friends, Simon, Sarah and Emma Alexander, Dr. Bruce Alexander, Donald and Harriet Chase, Tom Closson and Marie Walker. Predeceasing him was a sister, Dorothy Quass; and a half-brother, Ted Coffin. There will be no calling hours. A graveside committal service will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Fairmount Cemetery in Presque Isle with special friends, Pastors Matthew Maxwell and Larry Palmer officiating. In lieu of flowers the family wishes that donations in his memory be sent to C.A.N.C.E.R, P.O. Box 811, Presque Isle, ME 04769 or to the Easton Wesleyan Church, P.O. Box 15, Easton, ME 04740. Arrangements are in the care of the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.
