HOULTON – Clifford Stover, 87, died Feb. 15, 2008, in Houlton. He was born June 12, 1920, in Houlton, the son of Frank and Agnes (Anderson) Stover. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II, serving in the Army Air Corps. He was a former member of the VFW. Clifford is survived by his wife of 63 years, Doris (Albert) Stover of Houlton; two children, Sandra Plourde and her husband, Lucien, of Houlton and Carl and his wife, Marie Stover, of Warner-Robins, Ga.; two grandchildren, Susanne White and Michael Roy; six great-grandchildren, Noah Paul, Eva Sage, Alexander Michael, Emma Clair, Cooper Michael and Grace Ann; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; two sisters, Waneta and Mabel; and one brother, Gordon. Friends may call 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Cath-olic Church, Houlton, where a memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. with Father Eddy Morin, celebrant.
