ISLESBORO – Suzanne Rolerson, 52, passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008, while at her home. She was born May 30, 1955, in Wareham, Mass., the daughter of Lorraine and Donald Grady. She will be remembered dearly by her husband, Stephen Rolerson of Islesboro; her son and daughter-in-law, Amon and Jana Rolerson of Lincoln; her son, Elan Rolerson of Islesboro; her daughter, Nyiah Rolerson of Islesboro; and her grandson, Marcus Rolerson of Lincoln. She will also be remembered by her sister, Jacqueline Generous of Naples, Fla.; and her twin sister, Joanne Grady-Savard and her family, Gerard, Michael and Matthew Savard of Duxbury, Mass.; her sister, Jean Olenick and family, Joe and Shannon Olenick of East Falmouth, Mass.; and her brother, Jeff and wife, Jennifer Grady, of Whitman, Mass. She will be remembered by her aunt, Phy-llis Hurley of Yarmouth, Mass.; her uncle, Robert Cloudman of Bridgewater, Mass., and her uncle, Michael Grady of Falmouth, Mass. She will be mourned by many cousins. She will be welcomed into heaven by her mother, Lorraine Grady; her father, Donald Grady; her brother, Robert Grady; her Aunt Kaye Cloudman; her Uncle Ray-mond and Aunt Helen Grady and her Uncle Joe Hurley. She grew up in Falmouth, Mass., and graduated from Falmouth High School. In her youth, she loved the beach and writing poetry. Suzanne was a certified nurses’ assistant and worked at Falmouth Hospital, Massachusetts. After marrying her husband, Stephen Rolerson, April 23, 1979, she moved to Islesboro. She worked providing home health care services while raising three children. Suzanne was a strong inspirational person to all who knew her. She devoted herself to her family. After years of battling kidney failure and cancer, she remained the type of person who never stopped giving to others. She loved to laugh and never dwelled on her hardship. She found stren-gth in her faith and admired the works of Mother Teresa. Her courage and optimism will be admired and missed for many years to come. Family and friends are invited to visit 10-11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, at Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast, where a Catholic prayer service will begin 11 a.m. with Father Joseph Koury officiating. A memorial service will also be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Second Baptist Church, Islesboro. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Suzanne Rolerson Scholarship Fund, care of Islesboro Central School, Islesboro, ME 04848.
