OLD TOWN – Constance M. Graffam, 80, died Sept. 21, 2006, at a Bangor health care facility. Born Dec. 23, 1925, in Old Town, she was the daughter of Robert Taylor and Clara Dawes. She will be sadly missed by her friends and family. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert James Graffam in 1980; and one son, James Robert Graffam in 2001. Constance is survived by one daughter, JoAnn Perry of Black Mountain, N.C.; and three grandchildren, Aliera Graffam and Gentry Graffam, both of Bristol and Shelly Marie Gibson of Black Mountain, N.C. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, at Lawndale Cemetery, Old Town, with the Rev. Ron Chaffee officiating. Arrangements by Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town.
