EAST MILLINOCKET – Cora L. “Kokie” Willette, 68, died at a local hospital Friday, Dec. 31, 2004. She was born June 27, 1936, in Millinocket the daughter of Ralph and Hazel (Field) Ouellet. Kokie was a communicant of St. Peter’s Catholic Church of East Millinocket where she was also a former member of the Daughters of Isabella. Kokie enjoyed her camp at Ambejejus Lake, fishing, and bird watching. Many of her conversations included childhood memories of Ebeemee Pond. Kokie was a beloved wife and mother and was especially proud of her loving grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 49 years and the love of her life, Frank J. Willette of East Millinocket; her children, Frank M. and his wife, Stavroula Willette, of Saco, and Lisa M. and Mark LeGassey of Brunswick; four grandchildren, John and Alex LeGassey and Katina and Nicole Willette; her mother-in-law, Amelia Willette of East Millinocket; a sister, Sara and husband, Donald Morrison, of Millinocket; a sister-in-law, Marie and husband, Robert Mosca, of Millinocket; a special cousin, Arvilla Usher; and many other special cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Elsie Ouellet; a sister and brother-in-law, Estelle “Sis” and husband, Francis Beninati. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005, at R.L. Bouchard Funeral Home, 17 Western Ave., East Millinocket, where St. Ann’s Circle Daughters of Isabella will recite the rosary at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2005, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
