BANGOR – D. Keith Parlette passed away July 23, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. Born Aug. 1, 1958, in Bluffton, Ohio, he was the son of Rev. Dale I. Parlette and Louretta M. Breitweiser Parlette. Keith worked as a custodian at the University of Maine. He was a member of the Bangor Baptist Church and also participated in the Rare Breed Association for Domestic Farm Animals. Keith enjoyed biking long distances, hiking, camping, roller blading and horse back riding, he also enjoyed riding his bike up Mount Katahdin. In addition to his mother, Keith is survived by his brothers, Richard D. (Alisa) Parlette of Lockport, N.Y., and Bruce A. (Sherrie) Parlette of Paden City, W.Va.; a sister, Twana Kay Parlette, also of Lockport, N.Y. He was predeceased by his father. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport, N.Y., where services will be held 11 a.m. Friday. Memorial donations to the charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
