LITTLETON – Dana A. McGuire, 50, died June 16, 2008, in Littleton. He was born April 16, 1958, in Houlton, the son of Floyd and Madeline (Roy) McGuire. Dana served in the Army National Guard for eight years. He was a gunner in the artillery unit and was an expert marksman. He worked at Louisiana Pacific. He enjoyed making his rounds, ice fishing with his buddy, George and his annual trip to camp with the Hendersons. He is survived by two children, Lisa and her husband, Kris Calaman, and Matt Suitter, all of Houlton; five grandchildren, Logan, Mariah, Asher, Shelby and Danielle; four brothers and three sisters, Tammy Verdelli of Houlton, Nancy Lee of New Milford, Conn., Joyce Langley of Bangor, Dale McGuire of New Milford, Conn., Wade McGuire of Houlton, David and his wife, Alisa, of Littleton, and Mark and his wife, Liane, of Whitefield; several nieces, nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents; one brother, Daniel; and his wife, Joyce McGuire. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 21, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton.
