BANGOR and PRESQUE ISLE – Daniel M. Coty, 65, died April 12, 2007, at a Bangor health care facility, after an extended illness. He was born Nov. 16, 1941, in Presque Isle, the son of Arsene and Sadie (Goven) Coty. He is survived by two daughters, Teena Coty of Vermont and Margaret of New Hampshire; granddaughter, Leah Coty of Vermont; three brothers, Roger Coty and his wife, Berniece, of Presque Isle, Arthur Cote and his wife, Gloria, of Bangor and Howard Coty of Presque Isle; two sisters, Alfreda Pietka of Presque Isle and Deanna Jackson and her husband, Bill, of Virginia; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He will also be missed by Skip Rist and Maryard Cirard. He was predeceased by his parents. A private memorial service for the family will be held at a later date. The family extends their appreciation to the staff at Ross Manor for the great care Daniel received. Gifts in his memory may be sent to a charity of your choice.
