CARIBOU – Davidina “Deena” Robbins, 55, died Jan. 23, 2008, at her residence, after a prolonged illness. She was born April 13, 1952, in Caribou, the daughter of the late Clifford and Mable (Higgins) Kennedy. Deena was a 1970 graduate of Caribou High School, was a 1972 graduate of Northern Maine Vocational Technical Institute, as well as graduating from Husson College in 1977. She was employed as the office manger at Percy’s Auto Sales, Presque Isle, for more than 15 years and prior to that, she was employed at Norsworthy’s Auto Sales. She was a member of Perkins Plourde Post American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Stockholm. She is survived by her two daughters, Stacey Robbins of E. Waterboro and Angela Chamberlain of Caribou; her former spouse, Alton Robbins of Caribou; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Madgel and Robert Desjardins of St. David, Ariz., Dianna King, and Paula and Kevin Giles, all of Caribou; five grandchildren, Lacie Anderson, Codie Robbins, Devin Doody, Kennedy and Dylan LeVasseur; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Evening memorial services will be held 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at Presque Isle Wesleyan Church with Pastor Darren Bonnville officiating. After the service, the family would like to invite everyone to the church hall for a time of fellowship and refreshments. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery Fort Fairfield.
