BAILEYVILLE – Delore Michael Leonard, 61, husband of Linda (MacArthur) Leonard, died June 28, 2005, at a Howland healthcare facility. He was born April 6, 1944, in West Enfield, the son of Francis V. and Odella (Shorette) Leonard. Mike served in the U.S. Army. He worked in mills, but for most of his life he was a woodsman. He was known for being a hard worker. He was an outdoors person, and especially enjoyed fishing with his friends. In addition to his wife of Baileyville, he is survived by two sons, Michael Leonard of Presque Isle, and Anthony Leonard of Bangor; six brothers, Eugene and Frances Leonard of Inverness, Fla., Vaughn and Joan Leonard of West Enfield, Gerald and Theresa Leonard of Lincoln, K. David and Roberta Leonard of Howland, William and Wanda Leonard of Enfield, Dennis and Renate Leonard of Lincoln; two sisters, Patricia and Gilbert Shorey of Burlington, and F. Marie Leonard of Dover-Foxcroft; a sister-in-law, Margot Leonard of Enfield, Conn. He also leaves his mother-in-law, Phyllis MacArthur of Baileyville; a brother-in-law, Michael and Sherry MacArthur of Baileyville; a sister-in-law, Wilhelmina and David Hunter of McAdam, N.B., several aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, including a special cousin, Mike McGinn, and special friends, Don and David Foster. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph Leonard and Lawrence Leonard. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2005, at St. Leo Catholic Church in Howland, with the Rev. Andre Houle presiding.
