ALLAGASH – Delores (Mc-Breairty) O’Leary, 54, died Sept. 5, 2006, at a Waterville hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Allagash, Feb. 12, 1952, the daughter of Francis and Ida (Jackson) McBreairty. Delores worked as a bookkeeper for 21 years for Triple M. Trucking. Delores founded the Allagash Precious Memories Foundation for terminally ill children in the state of Maine. She had a special relationship with her sister, Elaine McBreairty, personally and professionally. She was a friend to everyone who she met. Her warm winning smile will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her. She is survived by her mother, Ida McBreairty of Allagash, and her loving husband of 36 years, John O’Leary, of Allagash; two children, Corinna O’Leary and her fiance, Darrell Touchette, of Sidney and Gwen Perreault and her friend, Frankie Taggett, of Allagash; granddaughter, Haley O’Leary; six brothers and two sisters; her mother-in-law, Gradys O’Leary of Allagash; a special sister-in-law, Faye Hamm; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Francis McBreairty; one brother and one sister; her father-in-law, Elbert O’Leary; and special son-in-law, Bob Perreault. A graveside service will be celebrated 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8, at Allagash Municipal Cemetery, Allagash, with Pastor John Dik officiating. Arrangements are being conducted by the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent.
