NEWPORT – Diane L. (Nutter) Vanover, 50, daughter of Edward and Betty Nutter died unexpectedly April 15, 2005, at her residence in Conroe, Texas. She was born July 29, 1954, in Dexter, the daughter of Edward L. and Elizabeth “Betty” J. (Pinkerton) Nutter. She was educated in Newport schools and attended Nokomis Regional High School. Diane was a member of the Harvest Family Church in Conroe, Texas. She enjoyed needlework, crocheting and making special things for her family. She also enjoyed her computer and this enabled her to keep in touch with her family almost daily. She is survived by her husband, Darrell Vanover of Conroe, Texas; her parents, Edward and “Betty” Nutter of Newport; one son, Paul Damon of Yarmouth; two daughters, Tracy Cormier of Bangor and Candy Persson of Brewer; two brothers, Roger Nutter of Herford, Ariz., Larry Nutter of Orlando, Fla.; two grandchildren, Kaitlyn Damon, Michael Thoms Cormier; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter, Tina Damon. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at the Brown Funeral Home, 34 High St., Newport. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2005, at the Brown Funeral Home, with Pastor Al Worden officiating. Burial will be in the family lot Riverside Cemetery Newport.
