PRESQUE ISLE – Dianne E. Nesbitt, 61, died April 28, 2004, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Feb. 5, 1943, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Clifton and Beryl (McPherson) Estabrook. Dianne attended New Life Baptist Church in Presque Isle. She loved making things with her hands, especially quilts for her family. In addition to her sewing, nothing gave her more joy than her many trips to Wal-Mart. Surviving her are her husband, William B. Nesbitt of Presque Isle; her children, Phillip W. Phinney and his wife, Susan, of Brunswick, Robin K. McLellan and her husband, Kent, and Tina M. Jones, all of Presque Isle, Tammy L. Overlock and her husband, Charles, of Bangor, Maurice W. Rue Jr. and John P. Rue, both of Dalton, Ga., and Tony W. Jones and his wife, Timika, of Lisbon; 23 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with the Rev. Joe Mortland officiating. Relatives and friends may call from 12 noon until the time of the service. Interment will be in the Southside Cemetery in Mapleton.
