CORINNA – Donald A. Bean Sr., 61, died Oct. 26, 2003, at a Pittsfield hospital. He was born Feb. 27, 1942, in Skowhegan, son of Arthur and Bertha (Lancaster) Bean. He worked for the Hartland Tannery and later for Eastland Woolen Mills in Corinna, retiring due to a disability. He is survived by his wife, of 39 years, Rebecca (Cook) Bean of Corinna; his mother; a son, Donald Bean Jr.; a daughter, Angela and husband, Chester Barnes; two brothers, David and his wife, Nancy Bean, and James Bean; a granddaughter, Brianna Bean; nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, 2003, at the Corinna Village Cemetery with the Rev. Edward Jaworski officiating.
