HAVERHILL, Mass. – Donald D. Hatch, 75, died Monday, April 28, 2008, at Oxford Manor Nursing Home. He was born in Howland, the son of the late Pearl F. and Florence (Briggs) Hatch. Donald had been employed for 33 years as a shipper with Malden Mills of Lawrence and Methuen, Mass., before his retirement. During the Korean War, Mr. Hatch served his country in the U.S. Army prior to being honorably discharged. Donald loved Boston sports teams, especially the Red Sox and Patriots, and enjoyed watching local sports. Baseball was his favorite. He was very active with his children. He was also a member of Methuen Post No. 122 American Legion. Formerly married to Evelyn Hatch, Donald was predeceased by his second wife, Anne (Chretien) Hatch; and his son, Donald D. Hatch Jr. Survivors include sons, Jeffrey S. and his wife, Kelley Hatch, of Salem, N.H., Kevin K. Hatch of Methuen, Mass., and Timothy D. and his wife, Robyn Hatch, of Sandown, N.H.; a sister, Marilyn and her husband, Floyd Jensen, of West Enfield, eight stepchildren, eight grand-children, one great-grandchild, many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place 11 a.m. Thursday at Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence St., Meth-uen, Mass. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
