BAR HARBOR – Donald Dow, 62, passed Sept. 2, 2006, at a Bar Harbor hospital. He was born Nov. 10, 1943, in Bar Harbor, the son of William Dow and Phyllis “Hope” (Lambet) Dow. Donald attended Bar Harbor schools and worked at the transfer station in Bar Harbor; he also worked several other jobs. He enjoyed sports from baseball to auto racing. Donald is survived by a sister, Rita Blair and husband, Tom, of Bar Harbor, nieces and nephew, one aunt and two cousins; two special friends, Lois Smith and Janice Norman. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8, at Ledgelawn Cemetery, Bar Harbor. Friends and family are invited to share conversation and refreshments at Tom and Rita Blair’s home, 25 Right of Way Road, Town Hill.
