ABERDEEN, Md. and NEW CANADA – Donald Lawrence Pelletier, died in Philadelphia, Pa. He was born in Eagle Lake, the son of Lawrence and Theresa (Martin) Pelletier. Don graduated from Fort Kent Community High School in 1969 and attended Northern Maine Vocational Tech in Presque Isle. He worked at and managed several First National Stores in Aroostook County. In addition to his parents of New Canada, he is survived by his children, Michelle Zonneveld of Fort Lewis, Wash., Daniel Murphy of Wiscassett, Mark Murphy of Edgecomb; their mother, Julie (Orne) Ricker of Augusta; eight grandchildren; siblings, Patricia Labonte and her husband, Richard, of Manchester, Conn., Arnold Wilmer Pelletier and his wife, Betty, of Canton, Conn., Carroll Pelletier of Terryville, Conn., Rodney Pelletier and his wife, Diane of New Canada, Jean Theriault and her husband, Bill, of Sinclair, Lisa Bouchard of Plainville, Conn., Sandra Pinette and her husband, Peter, of Fort Kent. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Michael Pelletier; a brother, Eldon Pelletier; a sister, Kathy Voisine; and a sister-in-law, Corinne (Carroll) Pelletier and two grandchildren. Friends and family may call 8 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 until time of service, at the Daigle and Nadeau Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Spring burial will be at Holy Family Cemetery in Daigle. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the New Canada Community Center Memorial Fund. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
