DEXTER – Donna A. Knox, 87, died Aug. 21, 2004, at a Newburyport, Mass. hospital. She was born in Dexter, July 6, 1917, the daughter of Cecil and Bertha (Sites) Williams. She graduated from N.H. Fay High School in Dexter, Class of 1936. She owned and operated the Knox Manor Bed and Breakfast in Dexter for 45 years. She attended the First Universalist Unitarian Church of Dexter, was a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star, a member of the Rebekahs and a member of the Dexter Women’s Literary Club. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold B. Knox; and two sisters, Barbara Wakefield and Betty Bardsley. Friends may call 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2004, at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main St., Dexter. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home, with burial in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dexter.
