WEST ORANGE, N.J. – Donna Gates, 74, beloved wife of the late Lawrence, devoted mother of Beth, passed away Thursday, Oct. 27, 2005, at Mountainside Hospital, in Glen Ridge, N.J. She was born in Limestone. She lived in Maine, Massachusetts, Florida and New York, before moving to West Orange 38 years ago. Mrs. Gates was a real estate agent with Cedar Crest Century 21, Caldwell, N.J. Prior to that she worked for Weichert Realtors of West Orange for eight years. She received a degree in radio and television broadcasting from Fisher College, Boston. Mrs. Gates was a member of National Association of Realtors, New Jersey Association of Realtors and North Central Jersey Association of Realtors. She is survived by a daughter, Beth; and many close friends and co-workers. Funeral services were held Oct. 31, at Menorah Chapels at Millburn, in Union, N.J. Interment was in Forest Green Cemetery, Morganville, N.J. Donations in Donna’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1599 Clifton Rd. NE, Atlanta, GA 30329.
