CARIBOU – Donna R. Habeeb, 69, wife of the late Richard Habeeb, died Feb. 9, 2006, in Bangor. She was born July 21, 1936, in Caribou, the daughter of Donald and Vertlyne (Donovan) Woods. Mrs. Habeeb was a graduate of Caribou High School as well as Northern Maine Technical College, where she received degrees as a licensed practical nurse as well as registered nurse. She was employed for numerous years as a branch manager for Aroostook Trust Co. and was later employed as the nursing supervisor at Cary Medical Center for many years. She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Tim and Donna Jones and Dana Jones, all of Caribou; two daughters, Terri Rossignol of Bangor and Susan Ennis of Brewer; one brother and sister-in-law, Roy “Jack” and Pauline Woods and Janet Woods, all of Caribou; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Donna was predeceased by her husband, Richard in 2004. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Sunday, at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 13, at St. Lukes Episcopal Church, with Fr. Robert Smith, officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
