CARIBOU – Dorena M. Johndro, 65, died April 2, 2008, in Fort Kent. She was born Oct. 25, 1942, in Caribou, the daughter of Louis and Eva (Martin) Belanger. She was a graduate of Caribou High School. Dorena was employed at Cary Medical Center for more than 20 years in central supply. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic, where she was also a member of Ladies of St. Anne. Dorena was a loving and devoted wife and mother to her family. She married Reginald Johndro, June 24, 1965. Surviving, in addition to her husband of Caribou, are one son, Rodney Johndro of Limestone; one daughter, Karen Wright and her husband, James, of Pleasureville, Ky.; one brother, Clarence Belanger of Caribou; three sisters, Jeannette St.Peter and her husband, Leo, of Caribou, Joyce LaFrancois and her husband, Albert, of New Sweden, and Kalen Hill and her husband, Ernie, of Caribou; two grandchildren, Austin Hilton and Timmy Wright; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday at Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Very Rev.
