VERONA ISLAND – Doris M Redman died May 14 2004, at Ross Manor in Bangor. She was born June 2, 1909, in Appleton, the daughter of Leroy G and Emma Hannan. Doris worked at St. Regis Paper Co. for many years. She loved going for car rides and out to eat with family. She enjoyed having her family and friends stop by for coffee. Doris is survived by two sons, Robert Redman and his wife, Goldie, Wayne Redman and his wife, Helen, all of Verona Island; 10 grandchildren, William Redman and his wife, Karen, of Bucksport, Glenn Redman of Verona Island, Gary Redman of Bucksport, Cleo Brennan and her husband, Tom, of Bucksport, David Redman and his wife, Lynn, of East Orland, Lori Rumney and her husband, Donald, of Bucksport, Bonnie Gerow and her husband, Herbert, of Bucksport, Scott Redman and his wife, Stephanie, of Bucksport, Dale Redman of Bucksport, and Brian Redman of Ft. Pierce, Fla. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She will be missed by her cat, Darby. She was predeceased by her husband, R. Fulton “Jerry” Redman, in 1967; her son, Horace Norman Redman, in 1989; and two brothers, Horace and Pearly Sukeforth. Graveside services will be held 4 p.m. Wednesday May 19, 2004, at Riverview Cemetery in Bucksport, with Pastor Peter Remick officiating.
