ST. ALBANS – Dorothy A. Neal, 79, passed away March 11, 2007, at a Pittsfield hospital after a short illness. She was born June 18, 1927, in Bar Harbor, a daughter of Harry and Annis (Wills) Willey. She graduated from Portland High School, and after she was married, moved to Minnesota where she was part owner of a family restaurant. After returning to her beloved home on St. Albans Mountain, she waitressed and cooked at Nokomis Regional High School, prior to her retirement. Dot was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years, Lewis “Rusty” Neal; two brothers, Fonnie and Del; and five sisters, Phyllis, June, Annie, Rena, and Babbs. She is survived by several nieces and nephews; Rusty’s family; and a dear friend, Joan Tremblay. No funeral services will be held at this time. Graveside services will be held in the spring.
