WASHBURN – Dorothy C. Churchill, 86, died peacefully and went home to be with her Lord, Friday, April 25, 2008, in Caribou. She was born July 8, 1921, in Limestone, the daughter of Walter and Ellen (Morris) Churchill. Dot graduated from Washburn High School in 1939. She worked for Taterstate Frozen Foods for 40 plus years. She was a life long member of Christian Life Assembly Church, Washburn. She will be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law, Shirley Churchill Bragdon and her husband, Lloyd; her nieces and nephew and their spouses, Carolyn and Willis MacPherson of Winslow, Gayle and Ronnie Dickinson of Perham, Kathy and CN Merrill of Oakland, Bud and Crystal Churchill of Smithfield and all of their children. “Grannie” will be especially missed by Lee and Beulah Gardiner of Bangor; a special friend, Audrey Pavelock; and she leaves many friends and neighbors. She was predeceased by her parents; and her beloved brother, Morris. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, April 27, at Christian Life Assembly, Washburn, with Pastor David MacIntyre officiating. Family and friends may call 2 p.m. until the time of the service at the church. Interment will be held at Crouseville Cemetery later in the spring.
