HERMON – Dorothy M. Grant went to be with her Lord, April 12, 2005. She was born Sept. 8, 1913, in West Sebois, the daughter of Gardner A. and Lillian E. Pickett. She was predeceased by her husband, Carlton A. Grant in 1965. “Dottie” was an employee of the Bangor Water District for 20 years. She was a very special and faithful member of the Hermon Baptist Church. Dottie was also a 20 year volunteer at Hospital Chaplaincy Services. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by all. Dottie is survived by one daughter, Carlene Robinson and her husband, Lloyd, of Hermon; two grandchildren, Lori Morneault and her husband, Joe, of Hermon and David Robinson and his wife, Debbie, of New Hampshire; two great-grandchildren, Kathryn Lozier and Joseph Lozier, both of Hermon; one sister, Janice Crase of Arkansas. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters, Phylena Porter, Mary Robinson; and one brother, Malcolm Pickett. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 15, at the Hermon Baptist Church, with the Rev. Garnett Chute pastor officiating. Friends may call at the church 10 a.m. Friday, until time of service. There will be a time of fellowship following the service.
