ORONO – Dorothy Lee Henderson, 71, died Dec. 21, 2005, at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. She was born Nov. 23, 1934, in Boonville, Mo., the daughter of Loretta Lou Long. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, William Henderson of Orono; four children, Charles Henderson and wife, Lynn, of Etters, Pa., Denise Henderson of Orono, David Henderson of Portland, Karen Henderson of Orono; grandchildren, Tess and Trevor Henderson; a brother, George Long and wife, Meribeth, of Boonville, Mo.; two nieces, two nephews and a dear friend, Cheryl Murray. A memorial service will be announced in the spring by Brookings-Smith, Labeau Cha-pel, Orono. Spring interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Orono.
