DOVER-FOXCROFT – Dorothy M. Cochrane, 86, wife of the late Lawson H. Cochrane, died April 28, 2004, at a local nursing home. She was born Jan. 6, 1918, in Dover-Foxcroft, the daughter of Ruel and Annie (Cudmore) Cunningham. Dorothy was a graduate of Foxcroft Academy, Class of 1938. She was a member of the United Baptist Church of Dover-Foxcroft, a life-member of Miriam Chapter No. 40 OES, and also Wenona Rebekah Lodge. She was retired from Central Maine Power Company. She is survived by a daughter, Jean McKusick and her husband, Paul, of Milo; a sister, Elvie Sargent of Dover-Foxcroft; a sister-in-law, Janet Cunningham of Sangerville; three grandchildren, Greg McKusick of Milo, Tami Goodine and her husband, Tony, of Atkinson, Staci Beaulieu and her husband, Jeff, of Milo; six grandchildren, Casey McKusick, Jennifer, Ashley, and Aaron Goodine, and Tristen and Colin Beckett; two nieces, Carolyn Leland and Dolly Leland. She was predeceased by a brother, John Cunningham. In accordance with her wishes there will be graveside services 11 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2004, at the family lot in Rural Grove Cemetery. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Special Care Unit, Hibbard Nursing Home, P.O. Box 159, Dover-Foxcroft 04426. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
