ELLSWORTH – Dorothy Nuzzo, 74, passed peacefully from this life Feb. 8, 2005, at the Blue Hill Memorial Hospital. She was born in New York City, June 28, 1930, the daughter of Samuel and Anna (Klausman) Pepper. Dorothy moved to Maine in 1982. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed traveling, cooking and crafts. Dorothy was an avid quilter and sold many of her crafts in the local area as well as giving these as gifts of love to her family and friends. She is survived by her husband Frank; son, Andrew and grandson, Nicholas; sister, Anna Morris of Centreville, Va.; nieces and nephews, Lorraine Knott of Maryland, Elizabeth Duke of Virginia, Matt Morris of South Carolina, John Morris of New York, Bill Pepper of Pennsylvania, Dukey Anders of New York; many grand nieces and nephews. Her exuberance of life and kindness for others will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
