WALTHAM – Douglas R. Hardison Jr., 20, went to be with the Lord, April 16, 2004. He was born, July 11, 1983, in Blue Hill, the son of Douglas R. and Germaine ‘Gigi’ A. (Grindle) Hardison. Doug enjoyed hunting, fishing, wrestling and played in the Waltham Little League. He also loved four-wheeling. Doug is survived by his parents; a sister, Rachel Hardison and her friend, Troy Higgins; paternal grandfather, Robert Hardison; and step-grand-mother, Verna of Waltham; maternal grandmother, Joanne Townsend of Rockingham, N.C.; a niece, Alexis Higgins; many cousins, aunts and uncles. Friends are invited to call 5:30-7 p.m. April 19, at the Jordan Funeral Home, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2004.
