MILFORD – Duane D. Brown, beloved husband of Donna, died unexpectedly Oct. 24, 2004. He was born Oct. 17, 1958, in Bangor, a son of Duane C. and Joan (Cyr) Brown. Brownie loved motorcycle riding, working on cars, NASCAR Racing, and doing carpentry work. He enjoyed the outdoors and especially his camp on Schoodic Lake. He was a baseball coach, cub scout leader and a past member of the Elks. He was a dedicated husband and father who loved and adored his children and his wife and loved Saturday morning breakfast. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Donna M. (Dupuis) Brown; children, Samantha E. and Colby J. Brown, all of Milford; his mother, Joan Brown of Milford; two sisters, Lori J. Brown of Old Town and Lisa M. Brown of Gorham; half-brothers and sister, Duane “Rick” Brown, David Brown, Karan Cuthberson, Marsha Bombard, Sherri Peterson, Mary Fitzgerald, Wendy Halal, and Andrea Perrir, all of Massachusetts; two best friends, Tommy Drinkwater and Jim Pikeand; many other close friends. He was predeceased by his father, Duane C. Brown; and a sister, Diane M. Brown. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Parish with the Revs Normand Richard and Paul Kerns, concelebrants. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Immediately after the service at the cemetery all are invited to return to the Holy Family Parish Center for a light luncheon and continued fellowship.
