BREWER and GORHAM – E. Louise Belyea, 86, died peacefully Aug. 9, 2007, at home. She was born July 29, 1921, in Gorham, the daughter of Walter and Edna Young. Louise graduated from Gorham High School in 1939. She lived all her life in Gorham until the last five years. Louise enjoyed golfing, gardening, feeding and watching birds. She was an excellent homemaker for her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of nearly 66 years, Stephen W. Belyea; two sons, Glenn Belyea and wife, Maryanne, of Bath, Mich., and Barry Belyea and his wife, Claire, of Waldoboro; one daughter, Brenda Willis and her husband, Larry, of Brewer; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and expecting two additional great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Janet Bridges of Georgia, Philip Young of Newburg, Carroll Young of Gorham, Barbara Moulton and Lawrence Young of Buxton; many nieces and nephews.
