WALLINGFORD, Conn. – E. Maxine Albert Tate, 58, of North Orchard Street, beloved wife of Worley “Cricket” Tate, died Sunday, April 22, 2007, at the Meriden Center, Meriden, Conn. She was born Dec. 3, 1948, in Wallagrass, Conn., a daughter of the late Willie Pete Albert and Margaret “Maggie” Martin Albert. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Joe DeFrancesco of Southington, Conn.; her son, Nathan Tate of Wallingford, Conn.; three grandchildren, Kyle, Hunter and Ariana DeFrancesco; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Priscilla and Earl Bates, of Southington, Conn., Pauline Wilson, Arlene and Jerry Santoni and Sandy Gade, all of Meriden, Conn.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Sandra Albert and Raymond and Linda Albert, all of Sherman. She was predeceased by a brother, Donald Albert; a sister, Rena Hazlett; and a brother-in-law, Carl Gade. Her family will receive relatives and friends 4-7 p.m. Thursday, April 26, at The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main St. Ext., Wallingford, Conn. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday from the funeral home, when the funeral cortege will proceed to Most Holy Trinity Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon. Interment will be private at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Meriden, Conn.
