FRANKLIN – Carl Tracy, 79, died April 13, 2005, at Courtland Rehab-ilitation Center in Ellsworth. He was born Oct. 10, 1925, in Cherryfield, the son of Harvard and Cora (Morse) Tracy. He attended Ryefield School in Franklin and was a U.S. Army World War II veteran. He is survived by his son, Earl and his wife, Linda Tracy, of Hancock; three grandchildren, Betty Ann Tracy of Bradenton, Fla., Tina Marie Tracy and her boyfriend, Shannon Nichols of Ellsworth, Scott Tracy and his wife, Lori, of Hancock; one great-granddaughter, Jessica Tracy of Hancock; brother, Curtis and his wife, Nancy, of Sorrento; sister, Priscilla Waddell of Franklin; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Betty, on March 13, 2005; his parents; brothers, Kenneth, and Clifford; and sister, Lillian Fickett. At Carl’s request there will be no visiting hours. A joint memorial service with his wife, will be announced in the spring.
