BANGOR – Edwin Eugene Clark, 75, died quietly May 8, 2005, after a long battle with cancer. He graduated from Bangor High School in 1945, then joined the Army and served his country honorably for 20 years. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Ernestine of Bangor; two daughters, Lena Clark-Copeland and Stella Clark Jefferies of North Carolina; cousins, Reggie Clark of Augusta, Jerry Clark of Texas and Patsy Clark of Georgia and many longtime friends. Mrs. Clark would like to thank everyone at the Maine Veterans Home for their loving care and her neighbors, Gary and Nikki Higgins for their help. Services will be private for the family.
