MILLINOCKET and STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Eileen Katherine Crawford Moscone, 90, died unexpectedly Friday, March 21, 2008, at her second home in State College, Pa. A lifelong resident of Millinocket, she was born there April 29, 1917. She was the youngest child of seven born to John and Mary Crawford. Her brothers, James and John Jr.; as well as her sisters, Mary, Elizabeth, Helen and Marguerite, have all predeceased her. During her working life she worked at First National grocery store and Hikel’s Sporting Goods, but her first priority was always the care, attention and support of her family. Her greatest joys in life were preparing meals for the family and dabbling in scenery painting. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Alfonso; and five sons, Ken Moscone and his wife, Kathleen (Civiello), of State College, Pa., John Moscone and his wife, Sharon (Berube), of Rochester, N.H., Tom Moscone of Lawrence, Mass., Tim Moscone of Millinocket and Peter Moscone and his wife, Iris, of Miami; seven grandchildren, 12 great-grand-children, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be deeply missed. Friends are invited to visit with the family 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Lamson Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 112 Maine Ave., Millinocket. Spring interment will be at Millinocket Cemetery.
