AUGUSTA – Eileen M. Pattison, 86, of Meadow Road died Saturday Nov. 8, 2003, at Captain Lewis Residence in Farmingdale. She was born August 11, 1916, in Ludlow, Mass., the daughter of William and Helen (Kelly) Consedine. She graduated from Cathedral High School and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, both in Springfield, Mass. She did post graduate work at Simmons College in Boston and received her associate’s degree in education from Brevard College in Florida. Eileen served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a nurse, both in the United States and aboard a hospital ship in the European Theatre. She married John D. Pattison in Ludlow on March 2, 1946. She enjoyed her travels as a nurse during the war and continued to travel throughout her life. She was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Augusta. She was predeceased by her husband, Lt. Col. John D. Pattison in 1974. She is survived by three daughters, Mary Louise Pattison of Augusta, Ann Bouchard and her husband, Dennis, of West Hills, Calif., and Ellen Krumpholz and her husband, Gary, of Groton, Mass.; two grandchildren, Lisa Peterson and her husband, Aaron, of West Hills, Calif., and Brian Bouchard, also of West Hills; four great-grandchildren, Sarah, Ethan, Meghan and Jacob Peterson. Visiting will be held 3:30-5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12 at Knowlton and Hewins Funeral Home, One Church St., Augusta. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Civic Center Drive, Augusta.
