BANGOR – Eileen Coady, 92, wife of the late Paul J. Coady, died Feb. 7, 2008, at her home, with her loving family around her. She was born July 11, 1915, in Orono, the daughter of James and Ermagean Sproul. Eileen was known by all as the life of the party. She adopted many nicknames, such as “MA,” “Nana-Banana,” “Little Momma,” and “Peanut” just to name a few. She loved to go anywhere anytime. She would try anything once, maybe twice if she liked it. While she worked outside the home at several jobs, she did her best work as a homemaker, cooking, sewing and making people happy. She is survived by her two daughters, Gloria Coady and Paula Levesque; a granddaughter, Lynne and her husband, Frank Noyes; two great-grandsons, Kevin Michaud and his girlfriend, Randi Camic, and Frankie Noyes and his fianc?e, Kristin Turner; two sisters, Elaine Small and Grace Davis; along with several nieces and nephews; two special brothers-in-law, Ralph and Billy Smart, and their families. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul; special son-in-law, Perley Levesque; sister, Carolyn Salisbury; and brothers, Stanley Sproul, Roland Knapp and Bernard Knapp. In a note from nana dated Dec. 30, 1991, “To all my good friends and especially all my family. I love you all very much.” Friends are invited to call 9-10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, with Pastor Ron Morris, senior pastor of Glad Tidings Church, officiating.
