ELAINE C. CURRIER Oct. 21, 1919 – Nov. 19, 2002 It has been a year since I lost my mother, my best friend. Mom, there is never a moment of the day when you are not in my thoughts. I know that you were suffering, and now you are at rest, and with Dad. But I miss holding your hand, and kissing you and taking care of you. You and I always had a special bond between us that didn’t require words. A touch, a look, a kiss, and we both knew what the other was thinking. I miss that, Mom.
