BIRCH HARBOR and SPRING-HILL, Fla. – Eleanor Cates Young, 87, died Aug. 17, 2004, at an Ellsworth hospital. She was born in Cambridge, Mass., Aug. 11, 1917, the daughter of Ray M. and Alice (Howe) Davis. Eleanor taught school for more than 40 years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, the Rainbow and the Springhill Florida (Maine Club). She is survived by two brothers, Donald W.
