CAMBRIDGE – Eleanor M. (Burdin) Bell, 85, died Jan. 16, 2005, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital, after a brief illness. She was born June 5, 1919, in Boston, Mass., the daughter of LeRoy and Helen (Higgins) Burdin. She was married July 5, 1937, to Ainsley R. Bell. She was predeceased by her husband, her parents, a brother, Herbert; two sisters-in-law, Catherine Burdin and Phyllis Burdin. She is survived by a daughter, Helen Chason and her husband, Lloyd, of Waynesboro, Miss.; a son, Richard Bell and grandson, Garrett Bell, both of Dexter; a brother, Elden “Dan” Burdin of Guilford; a sister, Clara Watson and her husband, Bernard, of Cambridge; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held in the spring at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Cambridge. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Guilford.
