BANGOR and BAR HARBOR – Eleanor M. Carlile, 94, died April 10, 2007, at a Milbridge health care center. She was born May 31, 1912, in Bar Harbor, a daughter of John and Annie Hawkes. She graduated from high school, was a homemaker and lived in New York for several years. Survivors include a half brother, Sam Mitchell of Bar Harbor; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held later in the spring at the family lot in Ledgelawn Cemetery, Bar Harbor, at a time and date to be announced by Foley Funeral Service, Bangor.
