WORCESTER, Mass. – Eleanor M. (Rogers) Gaudette, 95, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2006, at home. She was born in Edmunds, daughter of Chester and Sophronia (Cox) Rogers. She graduated from Becker Business College and received her degree in sociology from Assumption College. She was a member of First Congregational Church of Worcester, Mass. She worked as a personal secretary for the former State Mutual Life Insurance Co. She was predeceased by husbands, Winston Fox and Joseph Gaudette. She is survived by a sister, Phyllis Miller of Meriden, Conn.; a brother and sister-in-law, Ralph Rogers and Diana of St. Petersburg, Fla.; stepchildren, Edward Gaudette and his wife, Alice, of Auburn, George Gaudette and his wife, Cindy, of Florida, Gladys Mercier and her husband, Donald, of Worcester, Mass., Winston Fox and Robert Fox; 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, at the South Edmunds Cemetery officiated by the Rev. Ronald Windhorst and the Rev. Colin Windhorst.
