WINTERPORT – Eleanor Roslyn (Cunningham) Coolidge passed away peacefully Dec. 1, 2006, at a Bangor health care facility. Eleanor was born July 8, 1927, in Winterport, the daughter of Ira and Daisey (Grant) Cunningham. Eleanor was a life-long resident of Winterport and was a graduate of Winterport High School. Family was first and foremost to Eleanor, with whom she enjoyed spending time and going places with. She worked at Westgate Manor for 15 years as a certified nurses’ aide. Eleanor also enjoyed taking long walks and sitting by her pond. Eleanor is survived by three sons, Alan B. Coolidge and wife, Tammy, of Winterport, Gregory S. Coolidge and wife, Barbara, of Etna and Joseph W. Coolidge of Winterport; three daughters, Paula M. Coolidge of Bangor, Karen A. Boudreau and husband, Justin, Marilee L. Webb and husband, Michael, both of East Holden; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Brice Cunningham and wife, Sherry, of New Hampshire; three sisters, Carolyn Torrence of Bangor, Sharon Walls of Rhode Island, and Virginia Cunningham of Ellsworth, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Coolidge Sr. in 1999; son, Lawrence Coolidge Jr. in 1996; and a brother, Ronnie Cunningham in 2002. Visiting hours will be held 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, at Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Ave., Hampden.
