HOULTON – Elizabeth A. Batchelder, 66, died Feb. 21, 2007, at a local hospital. She was born Oct. 5, 1940, in Houlton, the daughter of Hudson and Dorothy (Smith) Cole. She is survived by one son, Randy and his companion, Judy, of Littleton; one daughter, Patricia Hughes and her husband, Gary, of Tennessee; two brothers and their wives, Donald and Becky of Ashland and Hudson and Cathy of Linneus; two sisters, Ruth Grant and Joan Spellman, both of Houlton; three grandchildren, Nicholas and Jacob Cole of Littleton and Jonathan Hughes of Tennessee, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, George; two sisters, Millicent Shrout and Rebecca Cole; one brother, Fred Cole. A gathering of friends and relatives for a time of remembrance and fellowship will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, at Linneus Snow Sports. A service of Dunn Funeral Home, 11 Park St., Houlton.
