ELLSWORTH – Elizabeth Annie Stillwell, 82, died Dec. 4, 2004, at Courtland Rehab and Living Center in Ellsworth. Elizabeth was born March 22, 1922, in Columbia, the daughter of Charles and Lydia A. (Sinclair) Carter. Elizabeth was a home maker and enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, listening to country western music, watching soaps, rides with her granddaughter Lori and Sunday’s at Wanda’s. She will be missed by her friends at Courtland Rehab, Meadowview Apts. and by her extended family, the Sinclair’s. Elizabeth was “Nana” to many people. She is survived by three daughters, Wanda Kimball and companion, Ellery Le Vesque, Charlene Grindle, Althea Wentworth and husband, Jack, all of Ellsworth; a brother, Clarence Carter and wife, Vera, of Gouldsboro; three sisters, Hilda Nichols of Columbia Falls, Kathleen Stillwell of Mariaville, Jeanette Kennedy Milbridge; 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Douglas. Memorial gifts in Elizabeth’s memory may be made to Meals For Me, care of Meadowview Apartments, East Main Street, Ellsworth, ME 04605. Graveside funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at the Bayview Cemetery in Franklin. Arrangements by Jordan-Fernald, 113 Franklin St., Ellsworth.
