CARIBOU – Charles “Ron” Sirois, 63 died Dec. 3, 2004, at Bangor. He was born June 22, 1941, in Caribou, the son of Charles Allen and Alma (LaForest) Sirois. He was a 1959 graduate of Caribou High School and was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He enlisted in the Army National Guard during Vietnam and continued to make his career with the 152nd Field Artillery having served as the operations NCO for numerous years. He married Rosemary Goodine Sirois Oct. 3, 1970. In addition to being a loving and caring husband and father, Ron, lead an active public service life, having been a member of the Caribou Volunteer Fire Dept. for many years, served as a part time deputy sheriff with the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Dept. as well as being a EMT with Lamb’s Ambulance Service. Surviving in addition to his wife, Rosemary and his mother, Alma, both of Caribou; are two sons, Daniel Sirois of Port St. Lucie, Fla. and Christopher Sirois of Raleigh, N.C.; two daughters, Andrea Cole and Bobbi Jo Sirois, both of Caribou; four grandchildren, Savanna, Alexis, Caitlin and Jacob Sirois. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday, at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir St., Caribou. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Fr. Jean-Paul Labrie, officiating in a Mass of Christian Burial Interment will be in the Old Holy Rosary Cemetery. Memorial gifts in Ron’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
