HAMPDEN and DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – Ella Mae Dinardo, 69, the wife of Vincent W. Dinardo, passed away Sept. 17, 2005, at a Bangor hospital, after a long illness. She was born Oct. 19, 1935, in Bar Harbor, the daughter of Maynard and Bertha (Hall) Holmes. Ella is survived by her husband, Vincent, of Hampden and Deerfield Beach, Fla.; her mother, Bertha Hansen of Florida; two sons, Alan Gomes of South Carolina, and Michael Gomes of Massachusetts; two daughters, Donna Lanzon and Barbara Hand, both of Florida; one sister, Charlene Whitmore of Kennebunk; 10 grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, James Gomes Jr. A celebration of Ella’s life will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Avenue, Hampden.
