ORRINGTON – Emilie A. Walsh, 84, died Jan. 16, 2005, at a Brewer healthcare facility. She was born Aug. 26, 1920, in Attleboro, Mass. the daughter of Jean and Georgiana Blais. She is survived by her daughter, Susan and her husband, Arthur Thibert, of Orrington; two grandchildren, Stephen Thibert and his wife, Jennifer, and their children, Benjamin and Kimberly of Oakland, and Kevin Thibert and his wife, Rhonda, and their daughter, Allison of Winslow; several nieces and nephews. Emilie was predeceased by her husband, Vincent A. Walsh; brothers, Frederick, George and Omar Blais; sisters, Edmire Renaud, Jeanette LaPlante, and Germaine Lincoln. Emilie and Vinny were married for 50 years, and took great joy in spending time with their family. Art and Sue wish to thank the staff of Brewer Rehab, and the Medical offices of Dr. Henry Atkins, Dr. Jean Benson, and Dr. Jean Tibbetts for their care and support. Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday Jan. 19, 2005, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church, 207 York St., Bangor, with the Very Rev. Richard McLaughlin, pastor, Celebrant. Interment will be private for the family. At Emilie’s request in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
