LINCOLN and HINGHAM, Mass. – Eric J. Phillips, 43, husband of Dolores (King) Phillips, died Oct. 23, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. He was born May 8, 1962, in Milton, Mass., the son of William and Roberta (Knapp) Phillips. Rick graduated from Hingham High School and New Hampshire College. He loved photography, and was so good at it that he took many senior pictures. He loved animals, watching football and the Red Sox, and being involved with church. He was a member of the Mattawamkeag Church of God. In addition to his wife, Dolly, of Lincoln and his parents, Bill and Bobbi Phillips of Gilford, N.H., he is survived by four sons, Rusty, Josh, Matt and Sammy Phillips, all of Lincoln; two brothers, Mike Phillips and his wife, Corinne, of Lancaster, N.H. and Steve Phillips and his companion, Michelle, of Attleboro Mass.; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jeanette and George King of Lincoln; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Lori and Chuck Sutherland and Kerry and the Rev. Dr. Randy Turpin; nieces and nephews, Chris, David, Tim, Kate, and Casey Phillips, Michelle Worster, JJ Sutherland, Jennifer Solomon, Tiffany, Miranda, Ben, Alycia and Moriah Turpin; several great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at the Mattawamkeag Church of God, with the Rev. Brian Wade, the Rev. Mark W. York, the Rev. Dr. Randy Turpin and the Rev. David Bean officiating. Interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery. There will be a gathering at the funeral home after the committal service. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Youth Ministry at the Mattawamkeag Church of God.
